On Geritol Man and the MILF
If McCain and Palin were Pres. and VP right now I’d go to the Supreme Court and have them both legally declared dead and swear in Nancy Pelosi as POTUS. At least she isn’t caught up in this media shit cyclone of foolishness with millions of horny guys saying how they’d like to F Gov. Palin and all these issues surrounding her. I’m concerned about what’s going to happen Jan. 21 when Bush and Cheney exit the White House. I want the dollar to stabilize and the mortgage industry to get their heads out of their asses and stop raping the homeowners and the price of everything to quit going up so GD fast. The rest of this stuff is making us look like a nation tripping on crack and LSD and throwing a giant wobbly, as my Aussie friends would say.
In the immortal words of the Late George Carlin, “…It’s all bullshit, folks. It’s all bullshit. And it’s bad for ya.”

The journey
It takes 26,000 years for our solar system to pass through 13 constellations which we call the zodiac. How do we know? Well the calculations can be done and have been done using observation and extrapolation. But if one clings too tightly to calendars of a more recent creation, such calculations are seen as the stuff of fancy. For if everything is only 6-7000 years old, how can the solar system have been around for 26 millennia? The schools of thought that gave us the 6000 year paradigm also gave us an Earth-centered universe, an immutable sky and a flat Earth. If those people were wrong about those three things how do we know they’re right about the age of the Earth? Maybe we know that the solar system takes that long in its travels because we’ve lived it?

Olympic Whitewash
Remember, companies in China pay workers in pennies to put shit together that you’re using. The rest of this stuff we’re seeing is an elaborate stroke-job.

Economic Theory for Politicians
The other names for this course is Econ 101-SP and Special Ed. Economics for Politicians. Economics is the one place where politicians show an ever unswerving lack of ability to get it. This is most recently evidenced with former Sen. Phil Gramm exiting the McCain campaign after saying that we have a “mental recession.” He’s an economics prof. and he has never gotten it. So without further digression, here it is:
In order for the people to survive and “make ends meet” their cost of living has to be below their income.
That means that certain portions of the cost of living like, oh, fuel, need to not rise at over 40% a year over five years. That means that nonsense gimmicry like mortgage lenders financing the land and not the building on the land and then hitting a home”owner” with a balloon note five times their established payment cannot happen.
We cannot Wal-Mart our way out of this with cheaply made goods coming from Asia. The rate the cost of living is increasing in this country has to be brought down to 1% so that it is under most people’s rate of pay increase.
Fixing this is a lot more complicated than I am describing. But when I read about politicians bringing up the same dysfunctional “solutions” like jacking up the taxes on the rich, I know that the whole lot of them are useless, insane and increasingly intolerable. I think it’s in the brandy they’re having with their cigars. They seem okay when they go into office. After that it’s like there is some rave for old fogies and they come out with the same bullshit.
I still want to see Obama elected even though I know he’ll be another four or eight years of the same insanity. Insanity is more than repeatedly attempting the same thing and expecting a different result. It includes thinking that the only reason the attempts have not worked is that the right people haven’t tried them yet.
It really won’t matter who we elect. The government will still be in office.

Kucinich’s Impeachment Move Dead in the Water
A committee will hear what he has to say but impeaching President Bush is not part of it. At least he’ll be heard, assuming there are open ears present.

Dangerous Distinctions
We gotta get the phrase “…to American Citizens…” and “…on American soil…” out of our discourse. When the subject of torture and some of the more extreme actions authorized to the President in these post 9-11 documents come up, one or both of those phrases gets tacked on to it. If it’s not okay here it’s not okay there. If it’s not okay to do to us it’s not okay to do to them.
As an example of what I am talking about, I was a bit taken aback when the subject of “crushing testicles” came up as one of these torture methods. No one seemed shocked at this. That people are discussing such an act at all should set off alarms in the minds of the nation. It doesn’t matter whether you’re talking about doing this to boys, men or animals. Anyone capable of performing such an act is two steps outside the door of cannibalism. It’s like Dahmer is alive and a policy-maker.

The Road to Control
Okay today the Supreme Court backed up the 2nd amendment. This struck down the move to prohibit gun ownership in DC. Do not think that we haven’t moved closer to gun control nationwide. The fact that it was challenged at all is the evidence. This is the Bill of Rights that is being challenged in these cases. It’s not over. Not yet. The conveyer system moved a notch or two and then stopped. That’s all. Anytime we’re questioning the constitutionality of the Constitution, we’re in trouble.

War on the Mind
Back in 1991 I was in a men’s group meeting at a church I was attending when I lived in Los Angeles. One of the guys there was talking about his success dealing with his problems related to sex and abstinence. He said, “…what I’ve started to do lately is fight lust, and that’s seemed to work the best…”
Now we have government officials telling us we’re fighting “terror.” Every now and then they’ll say terrorism and every now and then they’ll say terrorists but mostly what we hear is that we’re engaged in a war on terror. Terror and lust are both states of mind. These are personal conditions that the individual has to deal with. By saying we’re fighting a war on terror they might as well be saying we’re fighting a war on lust because either way what they’re really saying is that we’re at war with the mind.
When war is declared on the mind, the only winner is insanity.

Curious Conversions
Evidently shortly after leaving office Fmr. PM Tony Blair converted to Roman Catholicism. I don’t know much about his religion before that. Now I’m reading that there is a chance that George W. Bush may convert to Roman Catholicism. Now the smoke screen in the article about Bush says something about his recent visit with the Pope and the strong right to life contingent in the Catholic Church. To take a look behind the dressing screen which is whatever is going as the official story, we have these two acting in concert again. That usually means something is up. We may be looking at some sort of religious false flag event. It’s just speculation now. The next LED to come on will be seeing these two together at a Catholic ceremony.

Hart Logic
A few weeks ago Fmr. Sen. Gary Hart sent a letter to the Iranian government warning of an very possible attack from the US and giving some rather curious advice to possibly avert it.
Obvious stuff like I don’t think he’s part of the state department and had no business writing the letter aside, let’s have a look at the logic. First, I don’t think the Iranians are stupid or naive. They are right next to Iraq and could most likely hear the bombing. The administration has been quite clear about their intentions since the Iraq war started. Unless Hart thinks they are in fact that incompetent why write the letter?
