Presidential Modifiers
President Obama is calling himself America’s First “Pacific” President according to this story from politico.com. Before fumbling down several flights of stairs in 1992, Former President George H. W. Bush called himself the “Environmental” President. That was a load of feelgood crap. I guess we’ll have to see whether this latest moniker has any more meaning.
For those of you who think I am not giving him a chance, I am. I voted for the guy. The thing is I spent the 80s and 90s as a Republican asleep at the wheel thinking I had made a good choice with my votes. From now on I am going to watch what these people we elect do, not just that they’re saying “all the right things.”
