Parallels
This time sixteen years ago we were dealing with the first Bush presidency. The economy was crap. And there was Clinton talking of hope and change. Now we’ve got another Bush, another manipulated war and another Democrat talking of hope and change. On the whole I think we fared better from 1993-2000 than we have from 2001 to today. While I’d rather see someone with programs that would dismantle some of the infrastructure that made the past eight years possible, I think I’ll take the hope and change offered by Obama rather than another four years of Republicans trying to scare me.
