Tabs Keepers
I was at a high school graduation ceremony last night. I counted five police officers and one deputy. I overheard the following conversation between a couple of kids:
- Kid 1: Man, why do we have so many god-danged cops?
- Kid 2: In case there’s a riot.
- Kid 1: Why would there be a riot?
- Kid 2: I don’t know. There could be.
I’m with Kid 1. Why? This wasn’t a beer swigging event or other adult-only venue. Why did we need tabs kept on us. This wasn’t even campus security. Why was that necessary.
