Today’s Lesson from Church
I sat at the table with some older men during the coffee hour. So I got to see what sorts of conversations I am going to be engaged-in in about 15-20 years. Today’s topic was Colonoscopy. They were talking about that crap they give you to drink that rooters your system and how they knock you out when you are having the procedure. One fellow kept saying “…yeah and you don’t remember nothing.” Well I do understand that hole in the mind that you get from being under anesthesia. So I said, “well I’m sure they can run off a DVD for you.” I don’t think they were interested in remembering.
