I am now seeing and reading as well with the contacts as I am with the eyeglasses. Once I threw out the trial lenses and started using the ones I purchased, everything cleared up. I definitely need to use the drops at least once per shift. My eyes get dry and scratchy as the night wears on. I missed my appointment with the eye doctor when I was wearing the trials. When I asked to be fitted they had already measured my eyes for my normal eyeglass setup. The contacts were supposed to be for distance and not reading and I was supposed to use reading glasses. Well it looks like they ordered the contacts in my eyeglass prescription thinking it was set for only distance. I need to reschedule the appointment so she is clear on what is going on. I just hope there isn’t a problem having it this way. Maybe my eyesight isn’t all that bad for someone over 40.
