While he didn’t say the “N” word, Harry Belafonte did call both Secretary of State Rice and Fmr. Secretary of State Powell “house slaves” in an interview in the UK. I’m not saying he has to agree with their politics or with the current administration they have both been a part of. I’m not saying we have to agree with each other. It’s just that this kind of talk only pits one black against another. It does nothing to advance us as a people and only plays into the hands of the racists who love it when there is strife amongst us.
