Doug has more to say on this subject. I just noticed that IMDB has Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt listed as Dagny Taggart and John Galt.
I don’t remember Ayn Rand describing John as being that “pretty.”
On a side note, Ayn Rand is not allowed to roll over in her grave as that might tend to substantiate rumors of an afterlife.

Actually, I think she would be excellent. Perhaps in the role of Mrs. Reardon. Someone with harder features that lack the softness of hers are required for taggert.
How about Matt Damon as Reardon and Clooney as Hammond auto.
