Peanut Sauce: A recipe in development

Here’s what I have so far:

  • 2 Tbsp. Peanut Butter (Preferably a natural peanut butter which doesn’t have sugar or shelving fat [hydrogenated] added like Laura Scudder)
  • Splash of Rice Vinegar
  • Splash of Tabasco
  • Dash of Salt
  • Pinch of Basil
  • 1/4 Tsp. Minced Garlic
  • Heat the peanut butter in a small pan. As it softens up add the Tabasco, then the rice vinegar. Then toss in the dry ingredients. Salt to taste.
